Pricing

Lakeside Accommodation, which manages the place on behalf of the owners, use dynamic pricing. Prices are adjusted by an algorithm to  reflect the level of demand in Taupō as identified by computerised monitoring. This approach to pricing is now standard in the travel industry.  

There is, however, a floor of $900 and a cap of $1,800 per night for up to six guests. For every person above six there is an additional charge of $70 per night. Off peak, if there are 12 guests, this works out to be $110 per person per night. At peak times, the charge per night if there are 12 guests is $185 per person. Infants under 1 are not charged.

The pricing on websites other than the property manager’s (www.llat.co.nz) can be higher.
